Ryan, who has been an integral part of the Boot Hill Casino team since 2012, brings a wealth of experience, dedication, and leadership to his new role.
Ryan began his career with Boot Hill Casino & Resort as a Financial Analyst in June 2012. He earned a promotion to Controller in August of the same year. In this role, he skillfully managed key financial operations, including revenue audits, gaming analytics, financial reporting, and budgeting. His exemplary performance led to another promotion in May 2016, when he was named Assistant General Manager.
As Assistant General Manager, Ryan expanded his oversight to include Gaming, Food & Beverage, Marketing, Finance, and Security, effectively streamlining and enhancing coordination across these departments. He played a pivotal role in launching Sports Wagering, overseeing its development from conception to implementation, and cultivating strong relationships with essential stakeholders to ensure its success. Throughout his tenure, Ryan has been instrumental in driving innovation and operational excellence, contributing to the casino’s growth and positioning it for long-term success.

Ryan’s influence extends beyond the casino walls. A dedicated community advocate, he serves on the Boot Hill Museum Board of Directors and the Ford County Economic Development Board.
Ryan holds a BBA degree in finance and accounting from Washburn University and earned his master’s degree in business administration from Fort Hays State University. He also achieved his CPA certification, further solidifying his expertise in financial management and strategy.
As General Manager, Ryan will lead Boot Hill Casino & Resort into its next chapter. He will focus on delivering extraordinary entertainment experiences, fostering a culture of excellence, and continuing to support the Dodge City community.
