Dodge City, Kansas (May 5, 2025) – Boot Hill Casino & Resort managed by BHCMC, LLC, a subsidiary of  Butler National Corporation (OTCQX: BUKS), proudly announces a new partnership between its charitable giving initiative, the Boot Hill TRAIL Program, and Fort Hays State University (FHSU). Beginning in Fall  2025, the Boot Hill Casino & Resort TRAIL Program will provide $10,000 in scholarships for students from  Southwestern Kansas pursuing degrees in Tourism and Hospitality Management through FHSU’s Department of Applied Business Studies, which is housed in the Robbins College of Business and Entrepreneurship.

This initiative reflects Boot Hill Casino’s ongoing commitment to fostering the future of Southwest Kansas tourism by supporting students who aspire to build careers in hospitality, travel, and destination management.  The Boot Hill Casino scholarships aim to empower local talent, ensuring the continued growth and success of  the Southwest Kansas tourism economy.

Fort Hays State University, a leader in applied business education, offers an exceptional Tourism and  Hospitality Management program designed to prepare students for dynamic careers in the industry. This  initiative underscores the shared vision of both institutions to enhance opportunities for students while  strengthening the region’s workforce.

“The hospitality industry is a vital part of our state’s economy, and this generous gift from Boot Hill Casino’s  TRAIL Program will provide students with the financial support they need to pursue rewarding careers in  tourism,” said Dr. Stacey Smith, Chair of the Department of Applied Business Studies at Fort Hays State  University. “We are excited about this opportunity and its potential to shape future tourism professionals in the  State of Kansas.”

“At Boot Hill Casino, we believe in investing in the future of our region by supporting the next generation of  leaders in tourism and hospitality,” said Ryan Deutsch, General Manager of Boot Hill Casino & Resort. “This  partnership with Fort Hays State University aligns with our mission to advance tourism and create a lasting  impact in Southwestern Kansas. We’re proud to help open doors for students who will one day drive innovation  and growth in our industry.”

The Boot Hill Casino scholarships will be awarded annually, supporting both academic and internship  experiences. Recipients will be selected based on academic achievement, community involvement, and a  demonstrated passion for the tourism and hospitality industry.
