Electro-mechanical Assembly Technician

BNC – Tempe specializes in manufacturing gun control equipment, gun simulators and related custom test equipment, rapid integration weapon-control systems, aircraft fuel tank safety solutions, and weapon / instrument cabling solutions. We are seeking 1 Electro-mechanical Assembly Technician to join our team in Tempe, AZ.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Ability to solder to IPC 610/620 standards (J-STD-001)
  • Wire harness assembly (preferred)
  • Basic math skills Ability to recognize and distinguish colors.
  • Detail oriented with good problem-solving skills must be able to know and recognize the difference between a variety of hand tools.
  • Ability to read and comprehend English.
  • Ability to comprehend written assembly instructions.
  • Able to perform mechanical and electro-mechanic assembly of products.
  • Able to use epoxy and RTV or any adhesives as needed.
  • All other duties as prescribed.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs assembly following manufacturing procedures and blueprints.
  • Able to complete manufacturing work order documentation.
  • Works effectively with other team members to ensure that quality and delivery expectations are met.
  • Follows policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Responsible for cleanliness and organization of area.
  • Other responsibilities may be added to or deleted from each position to improve effectiveness and productivity as necessary.

Shift: M-F 7:30 to 4

Job Type: Full Time

Expected hours: 40 per week (Overtime as needed)

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Tempe, AZ 85282: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

  • 2 years mechanical assembly experience
  • Soldering experience (IPC/J-STD-001)
  • Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
  • Wire harness assembly (preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
